Appointment Cancellation Policy

It is our aim to provide quality dental care to our patients and to use clinical time effectively. To achieve this aim we have an appointment cancellation policy:

We require patients to provide us with at least 1 working days notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.  If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the appointment time, this will be marked as a 'failed to attend'.

If a patient fails to attend 2 appointments within a 2 year period, or has not attended for an examination appointment in a 2 year period we will not be able to complete treatment or provide any further appointments.  This is in line with NHS regulations.

Cancellations can be made via telephone or email.

Any appeals by a patient about missed or cancelled appointment decisions should be made via email to the Practice Manager.
